James H. Kern, M.D. has performed major laser-assisted abdominal and gynecological surgeries for more than 18 years. His knowledge and expertise led him to add the latest dimension in laser technology to his practice, SmartLipo™. He also has an extensive background and practice in facial rejuvenation techniques utilizing the latest laser and pulsed light technologies as well as other FDA-approved treatments including BOTOX, Restylane, Juvederm, Artefill and cosmetic anti-aging therapies. He is trained and practiced in the latest techniques in spider vein therapy and leg vein removal.

Dr. Kern has expanded his practice to help patients learn how advances in minimally invasive surgical techniques may offer safer and more comfortable options to traditional surgery. He has undergone specific and advanced training in Laser Lipolysis and Liposculpture. He has further undergone specific training in ultrasonic lipolysis and bodyshaping techniques. Dr. Kern also assists patients with cosmetic gynecological and vaginal restorative procedures as well as traditional gynecology and wellness treatment.
